Post subject: I have a question about Site Sell
|

I have really been looking hard at purchasing Site Sell. The only thing I see that I don't like is keeping up with link exchanges. My present web hoster has a tool that periodically checks to see if those sites I am exchanging links with are still linking back to me. If not, their site is deactivated until they restore my link. From what I can tell, with Site Sell, you have to manually check those links which can take a lot of time. Am
I right about this or do they have a way to check link exchanges besides doing it manually? _________________ Work at Home Opportunities

As of yet SBI does not have a tool that can check the validity of links. It may be worth putting it on the 'wishlist'. There is a tool in SBI called 'Value Exchange' which supplies possible link (value exchange) partners.
You really want to exchange links (value) with quality sites that are in it for the long haul not just exchange links with all and sundry in an effort to boost PR. Google have cottoned onto this one! _________________ Declan O'Reilly

Basically you want to link with a site that compliments your site but isn't necessarily in direct competition with you.
There is some talk amongst Google buffs that the length of time a website has been around may also help rankings.
This is not to say that you shouldn't link with new sites if they provide good quality information.
Personally I wouldn't have more than 10-15 links. That amount of links is quite easy to manage. _________________ Declan O'Reilly
