With the Pay Per Click Package, we send targeted visitors to our
customers' web sites from the major search engines at a FLAT rate
of 7 cents per visitor. Customers can order the Pay Per Click
Package by paying us an initial deposit of $700, which will
entitle them to 10,000 unique visitors.
What are your impressions of this offer?
My first impression is that, assuming your site can make money at 7 cents per visitor, this could be a lot easier than either SEO or setting up and managing a pay per click account.
Yes, I know free traffic is better. Except that it's not really free when you consider all the time involved in SEO, getting links, etc etc.
I'm guessing this offer might not be new, and some of you may have experience with it, or similar offers.

Try a search of my newsletter archives. There were serious problems with this offer ages ago. You might like to ask Sumantra for an update. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Here is a problem I have with the program he outlined on his site ... they submit the new domain/pages they create to SE's and directories; if you decide to not renew that traffic will be shifted to someone else so you do rather get tied in; with PPC if you choose not to go forward with PPC directly, you still have SE rankings/directories to get traffic from; with SR's system, you would also be competing with the pages he creates for you when using the system and against them if you choose not to renew.
If he weren't submitting them to SE's and directories I think I would like it better ... does that make sense?

Right, this is true of any paid advertising. You stop paying, you stop getting traffic.

Sure. It wouldn't be any different with SR's service though, you could buy that, and still do your own SEO etc.

Good point. When giving all your work away for free loses it's thrill, buy competition, an AMAZING new net biz model!

Yea, I hear ya. I understand your concerns, but I'm guessing there is no way he could sell visitors at 7 cents each if he wasn't getting them for free. It seems an unavoidable downside.
Maybe it boils down to what the spread is between 7 cents per visitor and one's own profit per visitor. If the spread is wide, and SR is a reputable vendor, then the risk seems small to do a test run. If the spread is small, and you have to watch it like a hawk every day, then perhaps the time saving benefits are lost, and it's not worth it.
It often boils down to this. Either the traffic isn't profitable, or if it is, it's difficult to buy it in a volume that is exciting. _________________ Free Email Discussion Group For Your Site

Speaking from memory about the original service (that Allan mentioned), I think it's meant as a way of buying free SE traffic at a fixed price per visitor. A way of buying SEO expertise on a pay-for-results basis.
It's certainly interesting if you know how much a visitor is worth, but what concerns me most is exactly where the traffic would come from, for what search terms and what the entry in SERPS would look like.
In other words, you'd be buying PPC traffic without controlling the source. I'd factor in a big margin for error above the 7c per visitor to be on the safe side.
Just my opinion,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
