Post subject: No links towards my page showing up...
|

|
Ok... here's the problem: for a few weeks now (close to 1 month I think), when I search on google with "link:" to see what pages are linking back to my site, I get a "your search did not match any documents" message. Now, I know for sure there are sites linking back to me, at the very least from articles, not to mention that my statistics show where visitors come from and they show certain pages (including this forum), not only search engines.
What could be wrong? Google spiders my site every 2 days and still I have no links showing up... Any ideas? _________________ Prepaid calling cards

Google's link command has been intentionally broken for some time. They won't show them all because it was a goldmine for SEOs to scope out competition for niches. Try Yahoo or MSN.
Also, is your site in Google's index to begin with (site:yoursite.com)? _________________ Robert

Here's an article which describes how to check for links to your site in a variety of search engines:
