I recently found a service called affiliate sensor.

The service produces ad formats similar to Google Adsense but uses ClickBank products instead. I thought that this would be really beneficial for a good niche site to allow you to present more ClickBank products.

The service is "free", by that I mean you do not pay anything. Where they get paid is in 5% of your traffic (an additional 5% goes to the person you signed up through).

Does anyone use this service? Do you find it beneficial?

Right now I am creating my own links to specific programs, but if I can work smarter and not harder by automating this aspect, all the better.

It's better than AdSense on some niches for sure!

If you use this sevice, maybe you can't use google adsenses.

I've tried it a couple of times and have pulled it out after it did absolutely nothing. I'm trying it now (for the last two days) on a page that gets good trafffic and the clickbank ads are highly relevant to that page -- nothing yet.

One problem is that many of the Clickbank ads have text that relates to their affiliate program, which is not appropriate for my web site visitors. If you delete those ads, less productive ads take their place. I ended up deleting about eight ads and still couldn't get ads that didn't mention their affiliate program. Then I changed the ads to show only titles. That's where I am now -- no sales yet.

The other problem is that many of the Clickbank products are so cheesy that conversions are going to be low anyway.

I pretty much decided against it due to same reason you brought up.

There are some CB products that are good, but there are also some that are bad. Plus, it seems that many of the ads just try and attract affiliates.

I have had it on some sites for quite some time and it only has made a handful of sales. If I wasn't so lazy I would replace it with something that might convert better.

I believe you can use it with adsense becuase you give it keywords to use to display the ads with, therefore it is not contextual. Just like using chitika with adsense as long as you are telling it what to display and it is not reading it from the page I belive it is OK to have them both.
