Post subject: Bad experience from last week
|

Case 1:
I have a site is showing adsense. Until last week, everything seems ok as ad are relevant. But from mid of last week, many of my pages are served by the same ad even though every page is discussing different issues like one is discussing domain registration, another is payment, another is web hosting. But same ad are served the 3 pages.
However, if I am using dynamic generated HTML pages, relevant ads can be shown. Does Google work against static HTML page? I'm not sure.
Case 2:
I developed a new site with a new domain. It is dicussing health and investment. After 1 day, I finally see the homepage can show adsense ad. But after 15 mins later, it can only show non-profit ad. Now, it's nearly 2 days but it still can't show relevant adsense but only shows non-profit ad. Why? Is it because the site is too new and not indexed by Google?
Again, if i'm using dynamic generated HTML pages, it does show adsense ad.
But as far as I know, dynamic generated HTML cannot rank high in Google. If i use dynamic instead of static, no one can find my pages on Google. But if I use static pages, no relevant ad.
Do you have the same experience? What can I do? |

I don't see why dynamic content can't be indexed by Google, I see a lot of dynamically generated pages there.
Perhaps if you post your url, we can help? _________________ Learn how to turn keyphrases into quality, well-targeted articles your visitors and SE's will love with Gary Antosh's new ebook "Web Content Made Easy!" |

I think I need to put it short and further explain my question:
I found that:
1. Adsense can generate relevant ad in dynamic content pages
2. Adsense RECENTLY cannot generate reelvant ad in static HTML pages. Instead, a same block of Ads (sometimes non-profit ad) are displayed in every static page of my site. Please note that every page has different topic and content.
I'm not sure why and see if anyone has similar experience?
3. For dynamic generated pages, they usually can't rank high in major search engines. If these pages can't be found in search engines, my adsense income will be minimized.
4. So, I want to use static HTML. However, the point 2 situation may also mminize my income. |

Confused, I understand the problem you describe. However, without looking at your site I can't tell why your dynamic pages won't rank well. Dynamic pages can and do rank well with google, but you have to be able to create dynamic pages that meet search engine optimization, as well as have dynamic links that do not contain "id" or excessive strings. You also have to have text links into your static and dynamic content for the bots to follow in order to find other pages.
Yes, you do have more control over the SEO element in html pages ... they are usually easier to follow for SE bots but without actually seeing your site ... I don't think anyone can offer any more than a guess for you.
Sorry,

Really?!
I am changing "id" to "savernum" now.
I cannot believe it, but I think it's not too late

I must have been 1/2 asleep or not had my coffee when I replied to this before lol I never answered your original question. Sorry.
As far as Adsense and relative ads go, all my pages are static and show very relevant ads. Relevancy does improve over time, but there are factors that can affect the showing of ads. Particularly at the end of the month when Advertiser budgets run out. Then you can see it switching a lot between PSA's and relevant ads. It can even happen a lot in one day, as maximum spending limits are reached, and lower rate advertisers join in the fray.
It is quite common also to see a variety of pages on a site show the same ads if the site is tightly themed since a lot of the same advertisers will bid on a variety of keyphrases they want to target that you also targeted in your pages.
Hope this helps,
