hello everyone ..
i see lot of affiliate companies join cj daily . and all of them have good budget and lot of them r pay per lead ....
it sounds good if u place there banner and get paid ... but it is not what i expect as normal payment time is 6 months (check issue+ post+bank )for asian affiliates ....
how does it sound if i create my email list and then email to these merchants to buy them and pay me directly ? will they buy it ...
lets assume i create a job site of uk . get registrations over it ( create my own reg. form) .. and then email uk merchants who r willing to pay for job lists to directly buy my site or email list ????
so that i get paid promptly via international bank transfer _________________ Arora Search

I - as a merchant - wouldn't buy just the mailing list. I would encourage you to use your mailing list to promote my products and will pay you per sale (and some may even pay per click).
Having said that, I think that some merchants would be interested in buying your mailing list if it is a mailing list of people that agreed to accept information on promotions and deals in their particular industry. Then - being both targetted and based on the recepients consent - it would definitely be valuable.

The email business has changed ALOT in the past few years.
The value of a list arises almost entirely from your personal relationship with the readers.
You used to (IN THE PAST!) make good money focusing on building large lists you rented or sold to advertisers.
But now that every Net user has been pummeled to within an inch of their life by spam and legit bulk email, the personal relationship between author and reader is essential.
This is not my opinion, but a fact I have proved by spending over $100,000 building hundreds of large double opt-in lists, totaling over a million individual subscriptions. Because I foolishly did not build personal relationships with these lists, they are worth a tiny fraction of a much smaller list like Allan's, where he has built the relationship patiently over years.
Yes, build lists! But build the relationships too, or you are wasting your time in a serious way.
So, to answer your question more directly, I'd suggest you not focus on selling lists, because you really can't sell the value in the list, your relationship with readers. You'll be dependant on constantly finding new buyers who don't realize this. _________________ Free Email Discussion Group For Your Site

In any business deal, you have to try to see things from the other person's point of view. I'd be very nervous about buying an email list from anyone, let alone someone I didn't know from the other side of the world.
Phil has given you some excellent advice. _________________ Allan Gardyne

ok that sounds right . why would someone buy a list that they dont know about .....but i did not mean to sell email list ... lets take an example .... i create a UK based loan website ... i do collect information of peoples that need loan badly ( like name/address/phone etc) ..and then email to some uk based advertisor to pay me half of what they pay via affiliate network .or use email list and pay me for each qualified sale directly (my problem is i dont want to wait for money and network always ask u to wait for months ) .... one of my friend did it and he is getting great success . its win win for both of us .. _________________ Tips to increase Affiliate earning
