Allan and Joanna,
None of us can fully understand the pain that Allan is suffering. Neither can we appreciate the pain you are feeling for Allan during this illness...but know this...I and my family are praying for Allan's full recovery and for God's grace to both of you.
Please don't loose hope...know that we care for you all...and express that to Our Father every day...throughout the day.
Keep the faith...

Dear Allan and Joanna,
You are being sent a massive influx of loving, positive, healing energy. Thousands of people throughout the world have placed you in their prayers and meditations. Individually, and as a group, their focus is the restoration of both yours and Allan?s good health.
May this healing prayer bring you comfort.
Our God and Helper, we turn to You in this time of trouble and pray for strength from You.
You are the healer of the sick and hear our prayer.
Give Allan courage to bear the painful;
Give Allan the faith to rely on Your presence and
Give Allan the confidence to work so that it might aid in his healing.
Bless the efforts of his physicians;
Give those who help to heal the wisdom of the ages.
Bless the skills of all who are seeking to restore Allan to health and bless their efforts.
Help him, our God, for the sake of his loved ones, and bring him nearer to the day when he will again be able to give thanks to You in the midst of those who are dear to him, for all Your loving kindness.
Give him patience, give him understanding and give him hope.
May it be Your will to restore Allan to health and strength.
Let him complete his years in happiness and well-being.

Allan, just saw your update and I am sure Joanna's best anniversary gift was having you there and being a part of your recovery.
Glad to hear the eye is healing, won't go into the bottle thing except to say I had to giggle. Your sense of humor is awesome, not to mention the caring you show in letting us know how you are. Thank you, to both of you, for keeping us posted.
Keep on healing, I want to celebrate soon with Mantius

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make His face to shine upon you in this time of testing. Your test will become a testimony because you have the heart of a victor, not a victim. And you are Blessed to have Joanna beside you, my friend.
When you told me that you didn't feel well enough to be in our First Contact Secrets project, I had no idea that you were so sick. I would have included you both in my prayers from that point forward. You're in them now ...
