Hello,
I am new at this and my apologies if this has been answered already - I am looking for good affordable content writers for our sites.. I have seen a lot of threads about $5 article being available from good writers. But can someone suggest a few names and contact info so I can contact them. Any writer/s that you have worked with in the past who is good and is being freed up and could use some work.
thanks, Tom |

Anyone know what happened to Merry Vincent,
keywordarticles.com, I paid for one article as a test,
and never heard from her, since July 29, long time
for one article. |

My God really? This is one of the threads that I bookmark and I was considering her, articlesandcontent.com and constantcontent.com for article writing services.

No worries, just make sure we do a test first,
and we'll find the reliable ones.
Articlesandcontent.com seem good as they
use alot of writers. |

| I tried to buy articles from her, but apparently, her PayPal account has been disabled or something like this. I will look for someone on Elance.com |

Merry Vincent of keywordarticles.com is experiencing some personal problems. She is trying her best to fulfill all past orders.
As for Vera Carvalho of Articlesandcontent.com, she didnt deliver after accepting payments, didnt respond to emails and yet continue to accept orders from new customers. She even tried to sell off her site to unsuspecting people in a writers' forum. Naturally, people took action and had her Paypal account suspended. |

I have never tired purchasing articles before as it only takes me about half an hour to an hour to write a good quality article.
The main reasons why it takes me quite quick is before I don't need to do much research on the topic as I am writting them on the same topic as my sites, which means that I already know about these topics as I looked into them before making my sites.
Duing my time with these sites I learn more and more new things. I have do so much work on SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Web Hosting and things that I can write some good articles. They are not the best, but they are good enough as I have had some feature on other sites and in some newsletters.
I was thinking. I would prefer to purchase articles only if they also submit the articles accrossed the web for me. Do they also do that for the $5 - $10 per article. Or do you just purchase the article and do all of the article submission. _________________ Affiliate Programs Directory - Over 2,000 Programs

Nope, you just get the article although there may be those writters out there who would do submissions as well, for extra $$ of course. _________________ Business Owners Guide to Going Online What every business owner needs to know about going online |

Hello,
Should we target only one keyword for an article or with also few secondary keyword phrases.
Some of the writers that I hired wanted to increase the price due to the difficulty of writing with secondary keywords although I was ready to pay 15$ per article (for a 600-700 words article).
What would be the best strategy for keywords when outsourcing the content.
Thanks,
Oktay |

Optimizing your articles is a good idea if you want to try and get them to rank well withing the major search engines on your site and others.
But if you really want to get the benefit from having your site rank higher from your articles, then your main focus would be on the text that you use when linking to your site from your articles. This should also include some of your top keywords that you are trying to target. _________________ Affiliate Programs Directory - Over 2,000 Programs

| What I wonder is optimizing the outsourced content should be for one primary keyword or should it be also supported with other keywords? |

I'm a freelance writer who stumbled upon this thread while searching for a writer that I used to work with (it was good to find out what happened to Merry, for the record ). I've been kicking around the idea of doing affiliate marketing as well - to the point where I actually have picked up a couple of domain names and am playing with templates to come up with a model that I like enough to use... in the meantime, however, I just wanted to make a couple of comments and suggestions on the subject of buying content for your website.
It's really interesting to contrast what I'm reading here with what I'm reading on the freelance writers' boards that I frequent. There, the 'how good could it be for $3 an article?' is even more pronounced, and there's a lot of decrying of hack writers devaluing the written word by producing substandard content. I, and many writers like me, go out of our way to deliver well-written, interesting and informative short pieces on subjects that most 'serious writers' won't touch - and I know that I, for one, take a good deal of pride in being able to weave *exact* keyword phrases like 'in wedding dress' into my content in a way that isn't (usually) stilted.
On the question of whether to optimize for one main keyword or include a couple of secondary ones: general wisdom is to focus on one main keyword per article. The one place where it makes logical sense to do otherwise is when your main keyword is part of another keyword phrase - i.e. - vitamin and vitamin supplements.
As far as places to find writers who'll produce content at reasonable rates, here's a short list of content markets that I either know of or have written for:
www.articleauthors.net - they're a new kid on the block, but the article prices are reasonable and the quality of writing I've seen so far is excellent. You pay for articles by length ($8 for 250-400 words, etc) and can get discounts on ordering a 'package' of articles. Turnaround time can be as short as one day.
www.justarticles.com - I haven't written for them yet, but they have package pricing articles along the same model as articleauthors.net.
www.constant-content.com - You can purchase a ready-written article from one of the writers there, or post a request for a specific article or series of articles. Prices are negotiable with the site.
http://www.freelancewriting.com/forumdir/npfo/ is the Low-Paying Freelance Writing Markets topic of the FreelanceWriting discussion board. Not only can you post an ad there looking for writers, you'll also find a lot of the content services post there regularly to find writers. Just follow through to their link to check out the services that they offer.
www.getafreelancer.com - It's an eLance type service that connects freelancers with clients. The rates for using the service are low, and you'll find lots of writers and services that do outsourced content articles. The quality is variable, but if you request writing samples with a bid, you'll get a good feel for the quality of writing you're paying for.
Hope those few sources are helpful to people who are looking for markets in which to buy content for their web sites.

Eep! You're right. That'll teach me to type before I have my morning coffee - or while I'm drinking my (Constant Comment) orange tea.
Thanks for the catch. |
