Hi -- was just at payperclicksearchenglnes.com Great site, I think. Thing is, Overture (Yahoo Search Marketing) is in the top 10 PPC engines, but Google isn't?! I'm not trying to sound harsh.
My purpose for going to the site was to see what other PPC engines I could use to diversify my PPC campagin.
But now I'm wondering how I can trust the validity of a top 10 list that includes "Search123" and not Google.
Seriously, know where I'm coming from? If anyone can explain why Google (and their Adwords program) isn't good enough to be in PayPerClickSearchEngine's top 10... let me know... |

Technically speaking, Google isn't actually a pay-per-click search engine, in which people pay per click for rankings.
Google is a search engine which sells advertising space alongside its rankings.
You're right, though, the site really ought to have a section on Google's AdWords, because of its huge importance. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Good point, I hadn't thought of it that way. From that standpoint, I totally see why it wouldn't be included in the site. Thanks for the info! |

Allan's quite correct in his explanation of why Google isn't included in the PayPerClickSearchEngine.com listings.
I get asked the same question many times and I really should have included something in the FAQs to explain why Google isn't listed. It certainly isn't because I don't 't think AdWords is important.
I will be acting on Allan's suggestion and will soon have a section on
AdWords but I'm on holiday at present so it will be a couple of weeks before I get the new section online. _________________ Glennys Faulds

Maybe Adwords doesn't have an affiliate program or they do but its worse than amazon? I personally wouldn't mention Google on my site if I'm not going to make money from them. |

Fair enough. That's your choice. PayPerClickSearchEngines.com doesn't work that way. It provides links to 659 pay-per-click search engines, and most of those links don't earn money for the site. _________________ Allan Gardyne

And then you'll find that your visitors decline as people think you're more out to make a buck than to provide useful advice...
Though, depends on what your site's purpose is I guess. But I think PPCSE was developed to be a useful resource as well as make money for Allan. _________________ Search With Blingo Google and Win Prizes

If you want returning visitors to your site and if you want your resource to become one of the biggest and the best on the web then you may have to add sites to your site that will not pay you sometimes.
