TERRIFIC progress man, absolutely outrageous, and thanks for the updates on your success which I find very inspiring. I also do the James Martell Sites and Spin them off with a few blogs. Results hev been pretty god, been at it since January also, and hit the $700 mark on july. This is the combined result of 3 90 page websites. I wanted to ask you some things about your blog if you don;t mind:
1. do you post the same articles that you have on your website to your blog?
2. do you have backlinks pointing from your blog to individual pages in your website? (to get the backlinks)
3. do you ping your blogs every day?
What I personally do is post fragments of my original article on the blog and the a "read more" link that leads to the article in the webpage. Thwe I ping about two times daily. Fine results thus far!
1. do you post the same articles that you have on your website to your blog?
No, I write specific articles for the blogs (around 300 words but sometimes much more). I have two blogs, I'm considering a third one.
On a blog, you can:
A - Post your own articles
B - Use a service like http://reblog.org/ that will post someone else blog articles into your blog.
C - Automate the whole blogging and pinging with a service like http://www.wpburner.com/
D - Post product pages from a datafeed
E - Post free reprint articles
Depending on the time I have , I do A,D and E. But, 90% of the time I write my own posts.

Yes, for example on my site I have a review for widget Y and on my blog I will write how I used Widget Y in X situation then with a link to the page on my site. Sometimes, I point to product pages.

This is better I know of a guy who make $ 15000 (adsense money) a month he has about 20 blogs all of them updated daily.

Sounds good Steve,
Those blogs sound great for expanding backlinks and adding some more content as well.
I myself try to follow developments on one of James' new style sites on which I stumbled upon. He still appears to follow his own (2005) AMH himself. He doesn't seem to use blogs at this site which is online for a year now. I am just a bit disappointed about his rankings. 575 pages of a total of 1100 pages are indexed and 250 backlinks are indexed as well. (articles mostly 300 words, but quite a lot also upto, but not more than 800 words). But a PR of 4 and an Alexa ranking of 200,000 is not what I'd expect for such a site after a year. My much smaller 10 months old site is about the same in rankings, but not really earning much.
From what I can distill out of this all, it now appears one need better quality backlinks or many more backlinks and much more content than say 1 or 2 years ago to make it in Alexa's top 100,000. Doesn't look anymore like a business where one can build lots of sites on your own or would it still be possible using blogs? _________________ Gnoes

Wow, sounds like your worrying and analyzing way too much, let alone someone elses' sites. Put that time to use building your sites; don't worry about how James' are doing. _________________ Robert
