Excellent step by step guide, Charlie, glad to see it. If I ever want to go that route, I now have a plan lol

Brian, Charlie makes an excellent point, one well worth considering in any endeavor you undertake.

My point was that it is possible to succeed in a very competitive market by partnering with people who have existing traffic (rather than trying to build your own from scratch). People still continue to succeed this way in IM, even today.

Sorry you found that funny, Debs, but I thought Brian might have found it helpful.

All the best,
Charlie.

I didn't find it funny, I found it helpful. Just glad to see it written out step by step. My lol was because I do now have a plan, when before I couldn't figure out the steps on my own. Sorry to disappoint you.

I have a question. I have a site that is dedicated to widows and widowers that want to start dating again. I also have a site that is dedicated to widows and widowers who are in the process of grieving. On both sites I have an area called articles. When I find an article that relates to widows and widowers I put it in the articles section. But I keep it completely intact with the author information and everything on it. I don't want people to think that I wrote it because I did not. This is just information to help people.

Can I get in trouble for this? Until I read this post it never entered my mind.

Susan

I've just taken a look at your page...

http://www.widows-and-widowers.com/articles.htm

You are simply linking to other people's pages from your site. There is no question of anyone considering this content stealing, in my opinion.

Having said that, you might like to mention to the writers that you liked their articles and are linking to them. They may think your site is worth linking to, which could lead to extra traffic for you.

Hope this helps,
Charlie.
