Hello all:

I received a postal letter from an affiliate program training center,
it describe their training courses in detail. It says some persons out of
their center earn 6-digit per year. The start-up investment of this center
is $7,400.

There are still up to hundred web-site training center, all claim
to give you special knowledge/ability to make profit with affiliate program.
Usually they cost you hundreds of US dollar.

Who knows which one is better and worth investing?

Hi 3dumb,
Clang, clang, clang, clang Can you hear that alarm bell? $7,400. is an awful lot of dosh!

If it is training in how to be a successful affiliate that you want, then imho, nothing, but nothing will give you better advice and information than Ken Evoy's Affiliate masters course. It aint $7,400, it is free! Go to Allan's site, you will find a link there.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, and it is training to run an affiliate program or something else, but whatever, $7,400.!

Check them out, seek advice, investigate thoroughly. Don't go an sing up for it

>> Who knows which one is better and worth investing?<<

None of them mate, if they are that sort of price.

All the best,
Larry Chamberlain.

Keep your money in your pocket.

- Spend $300 on SBI and you'll get the best training for the money and a website too. Then commit the time to practice and learning then branch out if you want.

- I just saved you $7,100. Now spend a few dollars on some eBooks on marketing and SEO, subscribe to a few GOOD marketing ezines, purchase a few few tools.

follow some of the SBI threads and others:
http://associateprograms.com/discus/viewforum.php?f=11

Before you ask a question... spend some time searching through some of the threads. There is some valuable info in there.

You still have $6,500 in your pocket...

For that... Charlie, Debs and I will coach you privately Laughing Where do we want to meet? How about the Bahamas!!!

Seriously, follow my first 2 bullets and you'll do fine. It's not the money you spend... it's the time and education you receive by DOING.

I have to agree with everything posted above. That's way too much money to learn about anything unless you go to college and get a degree, or a trade school for a license. And I don't think trade schools charge that much but I could be wrong there.

It's stuff like that that really upsets me. For $7,400 you could hire a good designer, copywriter, and SEO specialist. But then you wouldn't learn anything. Gary's recommendations are right on target. If you want to be in this for the long haul, you can do it a lot cheaper than $7,400, and learn.

Even if you spent the money on that program, there is no guarantee that you would make a six figure income, or even a 5 figure income. It's all in how you apply what you learn. No different than if you spent $300 for SBI. It's all in how you apply what you learn. The information is available for free all over the net, and especially on Allan's sites. Learn it, then apply it.

You'd better pay attention to scammers. At present there are many of
them on the Internet. They can speak out to revive the dead. They are not responsible at all:!:

Wish you luck!

$7400? Shocked Shocked Shocked
This is #?%#%?# outrageous!
For that money you can have yourself a goodlookin' well functioning SE optimised website, listing in Yahoo and several other places, lots of good material to learn from and also a nice vacation in some sunny island.
Really, check out Allan's site, Ken Evoy's courses (Affiliate Masters Course is great and it really is free), go through this forum and I think you'll get the picture (and it costs you lot less that 7400 Very Happy ).

But that $7400 thing ... alarm bells really go off and nuts about that.

I'm new in the English-speaking market and I want to learn some stuff about it. So could you (or someone else) please give some links about good eBooks about marketing or SEO? Maybe even a few links of good marketing ezines...

Thanks...

Monsieur,
One of the best ezines is Allan's. And his past issues are here:
http://www.associateprograms.com/search/newsletter.shtml

Here is a list of resources from Allan:
http://www.associateprograms.com/search/resources.shtml

Allan's Article Archive:
http://www.associateprograms.com/search/archives.shtml

Allan recommended "Clickin it Rich" by Michael Campbell. I've been a subscriber of Michael's for almost a year now and find great information on marketing and SEO in his newsletter. "Clickin it Rich" and "Nothing But Net" were two ebooks I bought and devoured to learn about affiliate programs, SEO, minisites and microsites. I strongly recommend Michael's books and newsletter for those areas.

Ken Evoy's Affiliate Masters Course is another great read, and it's free, it's also listed on Allan's resources.

There is a lot of great information here in the forum too, browse around and don't miss out Smile

Planet Ocean's "Unfair Advantage to Winning the Search Engine Wars" is updated monthly, and their newsletter, also comes highly recommended by Allan for up-to-date information on SEO.

Within Allan's Top 10 Affiliate Programs is "Unfair Advantage..." and
"Insiders Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet"

http://www.associateprograms.com/search/favourite.shtml

Hope this helps,
Debs

Monsieur,

Also for Search Engine Opt... one of our posters right here - Sean Burns has an eBook called Rankings Revealed. I purchased it the other day and have found it to be very worthwhile. No non-sense and straight forward.

The link below is direct and not an affiliate...

Hello folks.

I have no idea who sent this, but the way I see it, it's a matter of how well tailored this package is, that determines whether or not it's worth it.

For example, if this includes 50 hours one-on-one telephone coaching with a genuine self-made affiliate millionaire, this could be worth it. If it is just another general how to course, as the others have said, I shouldn't be in any hurry to get your credit card out.

The problem is, it no doubt lies somewhere in between.

Knowing what I know now (and rembering how painfully hard and slow it was discovering it), I would have loved to have paid $7400 dollars to short cut the process in a big way.

At the same time, I spent close to $1000 dollars on an info product from a very famous marketer a few months ago, and that was nothing short of a waste of money. I might not be typical, but I learnt very little and found the software elements both outdated, poorly written and attrociously documented. The person in question lost years of hard earned credibility with me as a result.

Marketers often say that if you get one good idea from a product it pays for itself. Well, I get good marketing ideas reading jokes (amongst other things). You don't need to spend money to redevelop an imagination.

If you have big plans and want quick results, a consultancy-based package might pay for itself. If you're not absolutely sure, stand clear. Don't make the mistake of confusing expense with quality.

I swear by Planet Ocean, too.

Many of the folk who actually make a living as SEO "experts" use PO as their base. They don't spread rumour and they've stood the test of time. That said, a good second opinion never hurts. Just be careful of SEO advice in forums. If you don't know and trust the poster, ignore it. That's why Sean Burns keeps getting mentioned in a positive light.

All the best,
Charlie.

Thank you very much for the useful replys.

Now I have another question. I'm probably going to buy Mini Site Profits, has anyone some experiences with that book?

Another resource you might want to consider, is a workshop on SEO. Robin Nobles and John Alexander have been doing SEO workshops for 8 years, and are very highly recommended. They also offer tapes and ebooks.

Interestingly, Robin Nobles often writes articles for Planet Ocean's monthly newsletter. And they're good.

"Quality through association", maybe. Smile

Cheers,
Charlie.
