hi everyone ,
i need some advice , this is my first website and i call it my practice website , while i was reading ken envoys free affiliate marketing book i happenned to type in gift baskets in overtures keyword tool box and little did i know i made a sight about gift baskets ,
but now i want to start my real website about work at home subjects with real good solid info , it has nothing to do with gift baskets , is it a good idea to make a subdomain or should i start another a new web site ?

I'd start a new website, but please don't target that niche. You don't know enough about it. Find something easier.

hi dan
first of all how do you know which niche im targeting , and why would you say i dont know enough about it . affiliate marketing and web promotion are not the only things that you can make money , there are plenty of other ways to make money off line .. |

Start a new website...as long as it has nothing in common with baskets.
Dan is kinda right, the market is somewhat oversaturated, but if you found a niche, feel enthusiastic about it AND can give valuable unique information, go for it. I wouldn't start a site on this theme because I don't have any experience in the domain, but if you have, give it a try.

again i will repeat this site was not a intended to make money , i made this site because i was in the process of learning dreamweaver i wasnt focusing on what niche i would target or anything like that ,
and by the way im actually getting a descent amount of traffic from google on my 3rd tier pages, for a 2 month old website considering that most new websites are stuck in the so called google sandbox its not bad .

This is the niche you said you were going to work on: work at home. This is the niche you're advised not to target.
