|
|
I am wanting to incorporate a new design layout with my phpbb forums, whereby I want to include an additional column on the forum home page and other forum pages, similar to how AP is.
Ive just very recently implemented a mod to include a side bar on the forum home page, where I edited the index-body.tpl page.
Ive been trying to figure out how to go about implementing this change on the other pages. I tried to Google it without much luck. Anyone familiar with the design layout of PHPBB and working with the various templates?

None of the normal Board team have expertise in this area and you may have to "outsource", pay for the service, as Allan does.
This is not a technical site for working forums - such a discussion isn't relevant to the theme of Affilite Marketing per se although it is a pretty useful add-on.
The suppliers of the product should have supplied a pretty useful manual and there are sites where all sorts of mods are discussed - but not here, generally.
A search for phpbb mod on Google lists 1,590,000 sites!!! Go get 'em, boy!!

Take a look at the support forum for the board. If you are prepared to take some time and search imaginatively, there is a wealth of info on there.
I do not run the software myself, but I have helped three people with pointers. I always start in the support forum.
Hope this helps,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

Fair enough... the title of this forum is titled Do-it-Yourselfs, help with HTML and the like, so I figured it was fairly appropriate. _________________ Senior Caregiver | Gaining Weight Tips |

You might want to consider how much time and effort it would take to learn this stuff and implement it, compared with what you'd pay to outsource the work. _________________ Allan Gardyne
