I haven't been able to get in for a couple of days either. I also emailed the Support Desk and haven't heard back yet. I emailed them about something else yesterday and did receive the usual quick response, so they're probably just busy trying to fix this issue. _________________ VREFlipping.com - Learn how to get the most for your site when you sell it, even if it's only making a few cents a day. |

I just spoke with Charles there, and apparently they had a server crash, and it affected not only Affiliate Buzz but several of James's own sites. But the good news is that the site should be back up within 24 hours and a new issue is on its way very soon! _________________ Affiliate Marketing Programs Blog

Has anyone (everyone) else gotten back into the Buzz? I haven't worried much about it because of the post on this thread earlier, but keep trying to get in daily, and it won't take my login. I even tried going through the "forgot password" thing and it says my login name is no good.
I'll try support now, it's been good in the past, but thought I would check here first for news. _________________ Dennis, MDM Sports

Hi Dennis,
Yes, sounds like you need to get a response from support. I was able to access the latest Buzz on either Monday night or Tuesday morning of this week (I forget which).
I didn't have a problem. I went to the http://www.affiliate-buzz.com page and clicked on login at the top. It's a temporary login and only has the last three Buzzes available. They expect to have the entire archive back up in a matter of days.
I know I was having trouble before, when it was down. Maybe it's pulling up the cached page?? Perhaps you could try clearing your cache. Just a thought.

Gail,
Great tip, thanks. Yes, that page lets me (probably anyone in the world in, since it doesn't seem to require a login). I wonder if they lost their database that had their subscriber information in it.
I did email support, but so far have only received the autoresponse message back, not unexpected since it's not even 9:00 their time.
I'm waiting for a buzz where James addresses all the problems that have been reported in other threads on this forum, as well as this problem, he's never been one to shy away from candor before, I hope he has a good lesson to teach us with this one.
Previously he said a few sites were penalized because of cross linking, I wish he would have been more specific about exactly what not to do (he sort of glossed over it, at least in my opinion).
Anyway, thanks again, Gail, it's much appreciated. Now I can get the latest motivation when I get home tonight, though honestly I am getting a bit tired about hearing about the Cobra progress. _________________ Dennis, MDM Sports
