I was just wondering if $500/month per site is a realistic number for these sites, I realize they will fluctuate depending on the industry, etc., but I wanted to know if others have found this to be fairly accurate. My sites just recently went up so I'm still in waiting mode.

If anything, it's certainly easier to obtain with the help of Google Adsense.
Naturally, don't expect your site to "instantly" jump from $0 to $500 a month. It will take some time, hardwork, and testing to get there.

Cool, I'm definitely willing to invest the time and work, I'm just in that wondering and waiting period and had to ask, but I already have a little bit of Google earnings coming in just after a month of being up, so that's promising. Thanks. I'll just keep on truckin' in the meantime...

Yep, keep adding content. I know how you feel, because I experience it with EVERY site I launch. As long as you keep going and do everything James recommends, it's only a matter of time.

$500 a month is around $16 a day. If you break it down like that, it really is not that hard to achieve.
Some sites will earn a lot more than that, and some will earn less, however, $16 a day per site is very doable imho.
