Has anyone used iPowerweb for web hosting? I'm interested in your opinions on their services. They seem to offer a lot for a reasonable price.
Thanks,

hi mike,
I wanted to sign up with ipower web but have problems with my credit cards. IT takes forver for their reply for any question via emails. I can't imagine having this kind of slow service for my website especially I m not from US that my only communication tool with the web host company is emails. I think you are attracted by the free domain and PPC worth $ 50 . HOwever, customer service, for me, is VERY IMPORTANT.
I then switched to Lunarpages.com . it has been few months but i have been very pleased with them.
I m not bashing ipowerweb here. just sharing my thoughts. I know many marketers recommend them but it is just not for me.
Just my two cents. |

I have used Ipowerweb for 3 years now. They are great!! When I joined them, they had only 15,000 clients. This has ballooned to aver 250, 000....they had a problem managing the huge spurt in growth initially, but I think all is now sorted out!! _________________ FREE IT Certification Study Test Questions: http://www.thecertificationhub.com/

I have been with iPowerweb hosting for about two years.
I have had 3 incidents over the time I have been a customer. Each time related to no FTP access. They have been fairly quick in fixing the problems on each occassion.
The Live Chat feature is great and the reps are relatively knowledgeable.
Personally, I would not use iPowerweb as the host for my main sites. But as a cheaper alternative for smaller sites I find iPowerweb to be great value. _________________ Business hosting for less than $10 per month. This is just my take on search engine marketing. |

apondonet,
It is always difficult to recommend but the host that best serve my needs is Pair.
I have never used Lunar Pages - but I have only heard good things. _________________ Business hosting for less than $10 per month. This is just my take on search engine marketing. |
