Thanks for the update! After switching to a different computer at home, the number comes up fine.
Must be a cookie issue or something of that sort.

P.S. Yes, I'm pretty pleased with the ranking considering that it is an average of 3 months and I only had traffic for the last two. (and no googlebot yet)
Randy, I just had to tell you what a great page you did! That is what I like to see SBI'ers do ... tell THEIR story ... not SBI's LOL
Now, you might want to add a paragraph about "rough" earnings ... you don't have to include actual figures if you don't want to ... you can include % increases ... but let them know they can earn money with a niche site ... not just get great traffic.
I am really impressed! WTG

To be quite honest I haven't made much yet on the website.
I'm debating whether to start reworking things now or wait for the Google spider and also wait for the Spring season. I just missed the main Fall soccer season. Most leagues get organized in early August.
My CTR actually is pretty decent and I'm starting to wonder if Soccer.com is a liability.
Dave, since the page was created less than 24 hrs ago I can't say that I've had any success with it yet.
I have had about 20 people just click through on the SBI! button on the bottom of my web pages but no sales yet. Putting the graphic on the bottom of almost every page was a "no brainer" in my book and required minimal effort as a starting point.
You have to expect that little effort = little reward so I haven't been banking on any sales from the logo itself. You never know though. SBI! has a longer conversion time.
I would definately wait for the Google spider ... until you get a decent amount of traffic, you really can't tell what is working and what isn't.
Just focus on building more content, and let the SE's do their thing. Once you see those ranks show up in the SE tracking portion of SBI, then you can make decision about tweaking.
Hope this helps,

Even then, when it comes to keyword density, I'd be wary of tweaking...
Google, in particular, is fairly liberal when it comes to preferred keyword density - though there is some evidence to suggest that levels as high as 20% have been doing well lately. (Remember also, that linking structures and anchor text for incoming links will be more help in Google than keyword density itself.)
The point is, though, that SE algorithms are fine tuned regularly, so what works best now, might not next month. Bearing this in mind, it might be best to concentrate more on building more content pages with slightly different keyword densities. The more variations (without spamming) you can manage, the more chance you'll have of being near the top for some page in some engine for each different month, as time goes by. Pages will come in and out of fashion, if you like.
That said, remember that no matter how well a page ranks, people might not click through if the description Google gives doesn't light their fire...
Although not an exact science, Google gets it's description from a number of places, including...
DMOZ description
meta tag description
first paragraph on the page
text surrounding first occurrence of search phrase
If the description assigned is poor, you might try working on some or all of the above, to help increase click through.
Secondly, if you are getting traffic, but not making anything from it, is it possible that your copy is appealing more to SEs than human visitors? Never forget, rankings (or for that matter traffic) are little more than vanity, if people don't do what you'd hoped for when they reach your page.
Hope this helps,

I agree ... working the ranges of keyword density, and using keyphrase anchor links, within your content pages will stand the test of time that fads never will. As one page drops, you could see one, two, or more, climbing high and bringing in the traffic.

I wondered how much traffic I lose because of what Google puts in as a description. So now I check the ranking for the page and keyphrases, review the Excel spreadsheet (noted above) for daily search figures on Google by keyphrase, and see where the leaks might be. Of course, it is all mostly supposition, but once I check these, I can tweak the page a little ... very similar to Charlie's suggestion ... and see what happens.

Spot on! And, incidentally what I am working on now with my site getting that MWR a little clearer.
