If you were to list from most important to least. What would you do first and last to your site?
SEO, link program, articles, affiliate program, etc.
Give your 2 cent.
Thanks,

No... content is. With lots of links, and no content. You won't make anything...
With lots of good content, the links will come in on their own.
For me, it would be: content, SEO, content, links, content, building traffic. Oh, and content. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

In an idealistic world that may be true, but realistically if your wanting to rank well for competitive terms, dont think you can sit back and relax with a content rich site, you won't be making much of anything. |

True... you do need to link. But sometimes linking can be agressive (you go hunting them) or passive (they offer to link to you, since you are the best in the field).
Most of the links to the Programmer's Corner site are in the second category, although that isn't an affiliate site (has AdSense and thats it). _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Wasn't articles mentioned above? I'd throw content into that category. _________________ Robert

Thanks for the help.
Should I use an Articles Manager or a program that will create RSS Feeds?
Or maybe both... I think the Article Manager looks more professional but I'm new at this so what do you think?
Our site has more of a corperate feel right now. I know I need to created more content and that is the directly we are headed.
Thanks,
Brad

What is an article manager? I am not familiar with the term.
Something to create RSS feeds to other people can pull and display your content could be useful. Using RSS feeds from other sites as your content isn't really your content. So it won't be worth as much to the SE's and your own unique content. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Here is the website you can find it... http://www.interactivetools.com
I would just get the News Manager for $99. That's all I think I would need. The Article Manager is more $, I think.
So, should I go with ones of these are the FSS feed?
Thanks,
Brad

News Manager sounds like a Content Management System. If your not using SiteBuildIt, there are some good alternatives to CMS out there... I posted a couple of tools in the "do it your self" thread... _________________ Eric D. Burdo
