Hi everyone!

I just got into adsense yesterday. And i m really excited.
I was just wondering that....

Suppose there are two persons A and B. Both have their adsense accounts. And there is rivalry between them. Now, what Person A does is.... he just goes to a cyber cafe and starts giving fraudalent clicks to Person B's google ads. So my question is what will google do in that case? Will there be any harm to Person B?... or if not any harm, then any profits due to that clicks??

From the Google Adsense FAQ
Quote:
Any method used to artificially and/or fraudulently generate clicks or impressions is strictly prohibited. Google monitors clicks on Google AdWords ads to prevent abuse of the Google AdSense program. Google's proprietary technology analyzes clicks to determine whether they fit a pattern of fraudulent use intended to artificially drive up an advertiser's clicks or a publisher's earnings. Our system can automatically distinguish between clicks generated through normal use by users and clicks generated by click spammers and automated robots. We are then able to filter out fraudulent clicks. Clicks deemed by us to be click spam should not be included in your earnings.

Webmasters have received emails from Google advising of fraudulent click activity. Sometimes there is a warning before removal from the program, sometimes not. If you suspect this kind of activity at your site, you should email Google and provide access to your log files in an attempt to circumvent your removal from the program.

I wouldn't be surprised if Google can also match the IP of the offender and block their access to Adsense. Competitors like that are very childish and with actions like those won't be in business very long. Their time would be better spent improving their site and rankings.
