Hi,
im thinking about buying rosalind gardners super affiliate handbook. has anyone of you guys read it ? is it worth 47 dollars ? would be nice if someone could help me.

Hi Cosmo,
I Purchased super affiliate handbook August 13 and I refund it after 5 days.
If you are complete new to affiliate marketing the book has some value, but not for 47 dollars.
My recommendation is: Go to sitesell free ebook section and download The Affiliate Masters Course ebook written by Ken Evoy.
10 folds better and free

Cosmo i forgot to mention that because you are living inside European union you must pay tax.
Personally I purchase affiliate handbook for 58.94 US dollars. 18% tax applies for Greece. I'm not sure if this is the same for Germany.

thanks for your anzwers, but i already know ken evoys affiliate masters course and i know how good it is. i just thought that rosalind gardners book might have some new interesting affiliate techniques.

Cosmo,
Rosalind relies on the pay-per-click search engines for generating much of her affiliate revenue. If you are interesting in going down this route, the book is well worth the price, in my opinion.

Hi Cosmo,
If you are new to this field, then it can help you. But if you have read kens book, it pretty much covers many things. As charlie said, it concentrates on ppc, so if want to go that route, you can try it. But if can spend something, go for james martells handbook. It costs $167. Again if you have been in this field(atleast researching), you should know the stuff in there. But if you are starting off, consider buying martell's book. It is expensive, but worth it. And you will see lots of martell sites listed and not many of rosalinds. Dosen't mean rosalind is not successful, she is. But she does not publicize her sites while martell does. Just my thoughts.

The emphasis on PPCs is the main difference.
Gana mentioned James Martell's book, and I agree it is excellent if you want to design a content site for the free SEs, more like the SBI! design approach. He gives some very useful advice on linking structure for within your own site, in particular.

James Martell is rare in this respect, and teaches a lot.
"Do what they do, not what they say", if you ask me.
The one "trap" to avoid at all cost is just keeping o buying one more book, hoping for the " missing secret". None of them are perfect, just different approaches.
That said, the (free) Affiliate Masters Course is still extremely good.

Surely you must have got one idea worth the price? I think I've got something from every book I've ever bought, even if I didn't have time to put all the ideas into practice! 
I think it's a mistake to rely totally on one "philosophy" - Ken Evoy's or anyone else's. A second opinion can never hurt, whether it's from Ros G or anyone else.
For me it all comes down to getting good advice and then doing it my own way anyway!

First, I don't think that Rosalind's ebook is a waste of Money. You should think twice. If someone is earning MORE than $400.000 / year only with affiliate marketing you will definitely learn something from her if you want. Be open and think like this: If just ONE idea in her ebook helps you to get started you will get back the $47 sooner as you think. It's right that she mainly focus on traffic to PPC, but that is only one strategy.

I also own a copy of James Martell's excellent ebook. It costs a little more than Rosalind's but is worth every penny I have spend. It is more like a Seminar manual which shows you step-by-step how to start from scratch and build your first affiliate site. But it also shows you a lot of advanced stuff you want find for free anywhere.
