Allan,

Great idea to further use the right side to give people a way to navigate to other parts of AssociatePrograms.com. Makes it really easy for someone who might come in from a search engine to see what else you have and find it.

That said, perhaps you need to either re-word or rearrange some of the links. I saw "Affiliates dictionary" and "Affiliate directory" and I at first thought you had the same item twice in a row. It took a while before I realized that one was DICtionary and the other was DIRectory. Just the way my brain works when scanning.

You could change the second one to "Directory of Affiliate Programs", but that will cause issues with three lines due to the narrow colunm. You could play with the layout (CSS maybe) to reduce the indent and give yourself more room, or brainstorm for other text, or maybe separate them by enough (I would drop the dictionary to near the bottom) so that the brain does not play tricks) to make it easier for users.

Can't hurt with linking benefits either. Wink

Anchor text for "HOME"?

Just a thought,
Charlie.

It's a common problem. An associate of mine called Dan is the world's worst. It causes all sorts of trouble.

Thank you! Much appreciated. Done.

I've also changed "affiliate directory" to "affiliate programs directory", which makes the meaning clearer and is a more popular search term.

Believe it or not, I gave that careful thought Smile

I want to make it very clear that it's a link to the Home page. I'm trying to avoid confusing visitors.

Also, I already have a link to my main page at the bottom of each forum page in which I use the phrases "associate programs" and "affiliate programs", so I don't think I need to repeat them.

(The right-side links are also being discussed in a "Monetizing Forums" thread here http://associateprograms.com/discus/ftopic6441.html )
