G'day,
A comment made in another posting really got me thinking. The general jist of it was about 'targeting newbies offline'. I am sure most people who have been marketing online for some time have thought about this. Its easy to retreat into the world of online marketing and forget that there is a whole world of other people out there who are never likely to encounter an affiliate marketer because the 'pros' have it stitched up. I was interested to know if any seasoned affiliates have any ideas about marketing offline.
Regards,

A traffic tip a just ran across yesterday that seemed interesting and unique, especially if you would like to attract local customers:
Go to your local Java/Coffee shop or any place where they serve drinks. Find out what kind of cups they serve their customers with. After you find out the brand, go and purchase some and then get your website address printed on them. Go to the Java/Coffee shop and see if they'll replace their boring cups with your cups. You'll have hundreds of people sitting around, sipping their 'cup of joe' and your advertisement for your website will be right there. Most people will take their drinks to work or home and bam! ...traffic to your site!
There are some threads with a bunch of ideas about the offline world. If your interested just use the search feature on the AP forum.
Unfortunately, and Fortunately interest in Local has not reached a dot of it's potential Yet! So, for those that know how, the door is Wide Open for all kinds of nichy niches.
As per the tip in Trafficology, there are 1,000's of ways But to add to that, niche market where Food and People hangout and dispose of their monies.
Better than that, turn ideas into Businesses. How about an Offline domain name business built city by city. Here's a couple more ideas from one of my previous threads.
Can these type of ideas help you build a 6 figure income Yes, if you really Do it.
(If this offends anyone, I apologize but it's all about creative marketing. Please don't click if you don't like the domain name. If you do. Have your speakers on.)

Thanks for that Phil! What a creative way of reaching people. I particularly liked the A$$ one!
That made me think of a little story about two shoe sales reps who were sent to remote villages in Africa on a business building trip by their boss. After a few days both reps were asked to give a report about their potential markets. The first rep rather deflatedly says to his boss, " boss there is no point advertising to the locals because no-one around here wears shoes!" The second rep absolutely buzzing calls up her boss and says "boss this place is a goldmine, no-one here wears shoes!!"
There are so many niches out there that have yet to be discovered. And so many ways of taking an existing idea or product and delivering it to the market in a unique way. The only thing that hold most people back is lack of creativity. Keep those ideas coming...
