Post subject: Share With Me - What's The Fastest Way To Get Traffic?
|
|
|
OK, I have a time-sensitive campaign running right now. I need huge traffic fast. Preferrably cheap ... I can only think of 2 ways right now and I need your feedback ... or perhaps some additions ...
1 - PPC
2 - Ezine Advertising
Let me tell you that I tried PPC. Maybe the industry that I am targeting is just too competitive or I am just plain dumb at PPC.
Ezine advertising - I am about to have a solo-ad running by tomorrow or so. The publisher claims to have about 200,000 subscribers. Their archive issues do look good.
So guys, anymore ideas ... huge traffic, fast & cheap? _________________ Iszuddin Ismail aka Kidino

t49, Kidino is a long time poster in this forum and I am sure this is not spam. I believe he wants some honest feedback on getting fast traffic. _________________ Learn how to turn keyphrases into quality, well-targeted articles your visitors and SE's will love with Gary Antosh's new ebook "Web Content Made Easy!" |

he did however, answer his own question.

A "long time poster",if they read as well as post, should know that.

I didn't see an answer? All he did was suggest two methods he is trying and is asking for more, my guess is to prevent people from mentioning things they've already tried. _________________ Robert

Hi Kidino,
Thats seems to be a perrennial question of most internet marketers! If you want to reach a large targeted list of people fast I would advertise in ezines with a large subscriber list. Obviously the ezine would have to reflect what you are marketing. You can bid on some ads at auction sites such as www.ezineadauction.com
Hope this helps,

Debs - tThanks for the comment. Thought I'd be forgotten after being away for sometime. Don't know if I deserve 'long-time poster'.
t49 - Didn't mean to offend anyone. Frankly have been trying the two methods but maybe because that I just got into them, I have to go through the stumbling blocks first ... not much success yet ...
Never meant to spam or anything - seriously hoping to start an interesting conversation.
Robert - you read my mind.
homebizpro - EzineAdAuction - tried that one. I have to say that Merle is fantastic. She helped me resolved a situation with the publisher. My solo ad that I tried was to a 200,000 mailing list. Got some results but with that size, I wsa hoping for more.
Maybe the list is not as responsive. _________________ Iszuddin Ismail aka Kidino

kidino:
if you are promoting moneyclicking, then your target audience is newbies, and it appears that you are also relatively new to net marketing.
so you should be advertising in publications that target newbies.
HOWEVER,you are the new kid on the block, and don't have a track record.
If they have already discovered Allan,Ken,James, etc. .............. get the picture?
You did do your homework didn't you?
*** Allan,Ken,James,why don't people listen? ***
So,you need to find people who haven't found the pros yet. Which means advertising offline. And,if you are dealing with business people, then you must prove yourself to them. They might be new to the net,but they are not new to business.
Last, but probably should have been first, you are doing just what the pros say that you shouldn't do. Competing with 10,900,000 "website building" sites is a pretty daunting task. You need to find a niche. Preferably a niche with few competitors. I have found one,but not telling. I can't believe so few have found it. It will be like shooting fish in a barrel. You'll just have to wait a few months to find out.
gonna stop typing now.
good luck,

Tom, quite insightful. I like the 'target newbies offline' idea. Thanks for the feedback. Yes, this time it's for MoneyClicking. But hope to learn something new which I can apply to other websites as well.
Oh yea ... I do have other websites - niche websites on paintball, pc case modding, airsoft, swiss army and coming soon - lingerie ... hehehe Just that I like web building - formally trained in it - so just making my shot.
And for MoneyClicking, I don't intend to target the search engines (yes I know, 95% traffic are from there). So kind of ignoring how many competitions there are. _________________ Iszuddin Ismail aka Kidino
