Hi u guys,

I am super new in the affiliate world. I am surprised how much i am learning by reading posts and discussion by other members. I am afraid i have some really basic silly questions about affiliate stuff.

I understand, surprisingly, more about the side of being an affiliate manager ( as i am still in university i took up an internship and it deals with starting a affiliate program) bt i knew nothing when i started. I still know little of how it is to be an affiliate- which i realize should have been the first step. w/out being one i doubt i could be a good affiliate manager!

If i was to start of really simple and be an affiliate for say Target and other companies of similiar nature. Would kind of website should i have? Should i have a site that has my recomendations on certain products, a product of the week and etc. The main theme of the site would be back to college stuff. Can i go and take pictures of products that i use and like from these stores and put them on my site? Then send them in for approval into the affiliate program?

I feel really silly asking such a question but i seem to be stuck on square 1 ---after that i feel confident i can learn and do well. Is there someone i can get in touch with that i could just talk for a few minutes or email.

I would sincerely appreciate any help. I am really excited to be part of the forum!

I would strongly suggest you read the Affiliate Masters Course before you do anything! Understanding your limitations, having a passion, and finding a niche are very important when starting out.
