Hi all,
Whether you are new to the Affiliate industry or have been involved in the Affiliate industry as long as Allan has I would appreciate All your thoughts and comments.
Whether you are looking To exchange Links with other sites Or other sites are contacting you To exchange Links with your site...
What do you feel are the most important factors for Your Site from the receiving side and from the giving side
Does it really depend on the Quality of Content the other Site has or are you following what all the Experts are suggesting to do etc. etc.
Since, each Affiliate Site is managed as an independant business I would like You to explain your own Personal feelings and expectations.
Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts and comments.
All the best

I look for mutual benefit for both sites. I don't like to exchange with sites that have nothing of value (i.e. content or product) for my viewers. I don't like sites that like to play SEO indexing tricks with their link pages. I do check out their SEO practices, I don't want to link to spammy sites either. I try to give back to those sites, the same benefit they give to my site.
Honestly, I wish exchanging links wasn't important for SEO ... I wish SEO wasn't important too!
I liked the idea presented in another thread, letting SE's do their job, but also understand that the SE's have to do something to get the best results in the SERPs or they lose viewers as well.
I much prefer getting good quality articles out for distribution, than having to exchange links because it not only builds link reputation, but brand recognition as well.
