| Does anyone here find out that their earning per click is decreasing from Sept? I experience it. |

Since you mention it, yes.
Way too early to say if it's a trend or just a statistical fluke, though.
Even so, it would be interesting if anybody had thoughts about AdSense's long term potential. _________________ Frank Nordberg

Hello,
I haven't actually started publishing Adsense ads yet (I'm still waiting for them to approve one of my sites), so I can't answer the intitial question as to rates dropping.
I do have a feeling about how Adsense will go though. Mind you, this is just my theory...
I think that the results for those advertising will drop compared to just using the Google Adwords. When a navigator is searching for something in particular - they are in a "searching" mindframe, and seeing results directly from such a respected site such as Google (Adwords) has proven to be fairly good.
Now, when these results show up on a site that one is visiting, the visitor is not necessarily in a searching frame of mind, and he/she may click just out of curiosity - I may be wrong, but I would be willing to bet that in time advertisers will start pulling out of the Adsense program, and the rates will likely drop.
This is my theory, and I know of others that share the same opinion, but we are watching to see what reality will bring. I already know of a couple of big advertisers that have pulled out after carefully watching their results.
My $0.02

Hello all.
Sorry, I haven't been using Adsense, but I have been seriously considering it. Here's a bit more conjecture...

I am one who subscribes to this theory, too. I decided to resist adapting my sites for AdSense - no doubt losing out on "a quick buck" in the process - rather than build pages based on a crest of a wave. I think very hard before I create pages, and I feel it best to let the dust settle a little, before buying into this particular phenomena.
A second reason, is losing control of my site content to a robot. Not 100% happy about that. I can't imagine a "paper" publisher ever considering allowing an advert for inclusion, without OKing it first. What's so different here?
Cheers,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

The weekend that included the first of September, a holiday weekend in the U.S., were my lowest days yet for AdSense.
Yet on the Tuesday after, I started a 5 - day string of the best days yet.

No, we are having the best month yet. There continues to be enormous variation, though, from day to day.
