Hello,
I bought SBI on 24/07/03 ,followed the Action guide and first tried to test some keywords for site concept with the manager on the following day(25/07/03).After the session was completed Manager reported that next session can be carried out after next 24 hours
So I fired up the manager today(26/07/03) ,deleted the perevious keywords from temporary domain of SBI Manager because I wanted to start afresh with some new keyword site concept which I have thought about and tried the $ button for profitibility. But the manager reported it cannot get supply site Info.According to the SBI Manager's message,I waited for another 2 hrs and again tried to carry out the Keyword site concept session through the manager .
But in vain.
The manager gives the same message that it ca'nt get supply site info. and I just mailed sbi support and got an autoresponder message that they will get back within 6 hrs.
I hope guys there gets back and let me know what's happening. But I just ca'nt help growing anxious and thought posting in this forum might help
Have any of u who have been using SBI faced similar problems?
Do'nt know what to do unless support at SBI gets back fast
I'ld really appreciate hearing from pro SBI 'ers if they have faced similar situation .
Regards,

Hi,
For anyone reading my above post I felt it necessary to let you know that support by the guys at Sitesell are superb
I posted the topic in this forum just after mailing SBI -support for help
Within 20 mins they have replied and my problem was fixed.
By the way I learned SBI Manager was not working because I was using an internet connection which was behind a firewall
I am extremly happy by their fast response ,SiteSell certainly keeps up to their reputation

Mou,
Thanks for letting us know things worked out. How was the issue fixed? I'll be purchasing SBI soon and will load it on a PC with a firewall (Zone Alarm).
I hope it was a quick fix or a simple setting change!
Thanks,
Scott |

Hi Scott,
As far as I understand now from the previous experience SBI manager dose'nt run behind a firewall,u have to disable it if your pc is behind a firewall.
The problem that ocuured is something like this :
I bought SBI and and tested the Manager ,all done through a wireless modem connection (I do'nt have any firewall installed in my PC).There was no problem at all
The second day I tried the manager ,I was dialing up and connected through a proxy server which was behind a firewall and this caused the problem.
Shawn from sitesell support service was very helpful. In fact the first time he asked me whether I was behind a firewall , I promptly answered 'No I am not',completely overlooking the fact that I was using dialing up through a proxy server which was behind a firewall.
Anyway the inference from the experience: to use SBI Manager disable any Firewall service.Once Manager has done it's work you can once again enable it.
All the best

Scott, I run SBI Manager behind te Zone Alarm firewall with broadband cable and didn't have any problem. I am even on a home network. So wait and see if that is an issue for you when you load Manager before you fiddle with settings.

Hi,
I think any firewall can be configured to allow sbi to use the internet. So if it is a home pc, you can do it easily. If you are in office, then it may be a problem.
To your success,
