I distinctly remember reading in the terms and conditions somewhere that Google said they will send payment within 30 days of when you reached 100 dollars in earnings.
I started using Adsense the last day of June. I didn't make 100 dollars on that first day, so the whole month of July's earnings get added in there. That means that Google has 30 days AFTER July 31st to send me my first check.
Let's say they send your check 30 days after..which means it goes out at the end of August. It takes, say, a week to get to you.
Therefore, I could be waiting till the first or second week of September before I get my first check.
In short, don't worry about it yet.

I earned more than the minimum required for a check during the month of July. When I log in to my account today and click on "Account Information", the total paid to date amount is still $0.00.
That tells me they either have a stats error or they haven't yet sent out the July checks. I'm guessing it's the latter - 30 days hasn't passed since the end of July.

Post subject: AdSense Payments

Hi Everyone,
Here is what Google says regarding payments --
"Google will mail you a check within 30 days after the end of each calendar month that Google AdWords ads are running on your site if your earned balance is US $100 or more. If your account balance is less than $100, we'll send you a check at the end of the first month after your balance reaches $100. Additionally, we will pay out all accounts at the end of each year, regardless of account balance."
In other words, it takes Google up to 30 days to process payments. So July AdSense payments probably won't be mailed until the end of August.
Hope that helps

What's BS about it?
It's been in the terms and conditions right from the beginning. If you don't like the terms, don't work with Google.
Simple.

Not to mention that is the payment schedule almost ALL affiliate programs use.
Also, think seriously about it - the last day of the month passes.... now Google has thousands upon thousands of AdSense affiliates to pay - but first they have to do all kinds of accounting tasks and check to make sure all the amounts are correct (after all, how would it look if there was a system glitch one day that they didn't know about and an affilate was paid $2000 instead of $200... it would be a struggle for them to get the money back, and it would anger a whole lot of their misbilled advertisers). Once they're certain on the amounts, they have to print tons of checks, have people put them in envelopes, etc etc etc.... you can't expect all that to happen within a few days of the end of a month The process probably takes an unknown number of days (i.e. not the whole month) but the remaining days in the month are probably a buffer for whatever unforseen problems might come up from month to month.
Peace. _________________ -- Dave

FYI, my last payment (for July) was post marked 8/27 from NYC. Technically, I believe they had until the 30th to send it out.
As others have said, they are clear about their terms... if you can find another PPC ad network that pays you the day after the month is over, let me know! |

We got our check on Tuesday. It's one of the small format computerized checks with the envelope as part of the mailer. Be careful that you don't overlook it if it slips into a magazine, etc.

Yep! You know they're sending lots of checks when they don't use envelopes. |
