Post subject: How to setup DirectDeposit for other countries?
| Hi everyone, I'm new to the affliate networks, but I came across CJ where they offer direct deposit of commissions. The problem is that I live outside US/Canada, so is there anyway I can still open a bank account in US/Canada from other countries and utilise the direct deposit payment method instead of check? |

I'm NOT an expert at this, but because no one else has answered, I'll try.
Yes. Fredrik Gillstrom gave HelpDesk mailing list this advice: "To establish a US checking account if you do not live in USA call: Michele Christie at HarrisBank (Chicago, IL) on +1-312-461-2927. Tell her that you want a personal/business checking account and that you don't live in US or have a US Social Security number. And she will help you."
Please note: I haven't tried this. Ask what the fees are.
I've also received a recommendation for thebancorp.com. I've been told that you don't have to be a U.S. citizen to open an account there.
If you investigate these, I'd be grateful if you let us know whether this advice is any good. _________________ Allan Gardyne
