Aright, lets say you have a large site that consist of about 100 pages. What would be best? to list all the pages on a single site map, or brake the site map down into 3 pages?
thanks
Tommy
Google will only read up to 100 links per page ... after that they feel spammed ... people feel spammed way before 100 links ... especially if it is JUST links.
On my sitemap at http://www.debtsteps.com/debt-solution.html I did paragraphs and categories as well as links ... the page is long but I think it reads better. I am only dealing with about 60 pages so I left them all on one page.

Hi Tommy and Debs,
I thought I'd read something like that, and that points to it being best to break the page up.
However I'm also sure I've read that to ensure that an engine will spider all your pages link your site map from your index page. This would mean 3 links to the 3 different site maps on my home page. Hmm, not sure I'd like that!
