I have just re-designed my pluginprofit site that Stone Evans provides. I would love to hear any positive or negative comments on the new design. Please visit http://www.inetriches.com
Any and all feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. Christian _________________ The Home Business Professional Ideas and Opportunities Resource!

Your site is just a bunch of banners and links. There is nothing there to tell me why I should buy, download, signup ... nothing that tells me why I should trust you, or that helps to build your credibility.
The number one thing you have to do is build credibility, that isn't being done with the site. There is nothing wrong with the design, but you have no content that helps me, teaches me, or guides me.

Debs,
Thank you for taking the time to review and write a follow up regarding my site. I respectfully disagree that the content is not helpful but would like to hear more on the credibility angle of improving my site. Thanks again and all the best! _________________ The Home Business Professional Ideas and Opportunities Resource!

Inet, where is the content that will help me, teach me, guide me? I couldn't find it, just blurbs about products. Show me the content? Specific urls?
I mean articles, in depth, about specific things I need to know and why those specific products will solve the problems I have ...

Debs,
Once again thank you for taking the time to post regarding my site. So if I understand you correctly, my articles page and helful hints page is has no value to you? That to me is the relevant content that is updated on a weekly basis.
I use my newsletter as a way of building credibility with my clients, how do you build credibility? That is my major concern with your critique, please help me to understand. Thank you and all the best! _________________ The Home Business Professional Ideas and Opportunities Resource!

That's what I mean, where are the articles page and helful hints pages? I clicked on helpful tips and get a list of urls, all offsite. Your home page is a list of products with no explanation, no detail, no intro.
I finally found your Articles page, next to your link to "Feed the Hungry" ... gee I wonder why I didn't see it before?
If you want to build credibility, give first, then receive. Make your home page an intro to what your site offers, content, information, how your site can benefit me, how your newsletter is the only one I need and what it will do for me. I want to know how your site can benefit me and I find nothing that tells me that on your home page.
As far as your articles page, those articles can be the greatest in the world, but at first glance I only see one, and they are all on the same page. Make each article it's own page, with its own keyphrases, title, etc. ... that will give you more ways to be found in the SE's. Don't have your article page open in a new window, you run the risk of confusing your visitors. If it is on your site, keep it opening in the same window. Make your "Articles" page a listing of your articles with a short paragraph intro so visitors know what the article is about, that helps to presell and they don't have to wade through a ton of articles to find the one gem they need ... because to be honest, they won't wade, they will leave.
I would also make your navigation bar to the left more of an intro to your site sections, to real content which will help presell your visitors to your offerings. Basically your site is a hardsell at entry ... here are my products PERIOD instead of here is how you will benefit from this site then lead them to your articles which will presell them to your products.
While I feel it is commendable for you to promote The Hunger Site, it really has no bearing on your navigation, and distracts from the purpose of your site. I would suggest you keep it in your helpful links section, and maybe on your "About Us" or "Contact Page" with a paragraph on what it is about, and how people can help. I know what The Hunger Site is ... but I bet a lot of your visitors don't.
This is just my opinion, others may feel differently. But I just think your site is too hardsell with no information on the products and showing no relationship to how your site, and products, can benefit your visitors.

Debs,
Thank you that is what I am looking for constructive criticism with ideas to improve. Although I do not agree with you totally I do see some of your points. I will be back in a month or less with some changes. Take care. _________________ The Home Business Professional Ideas and Opportunities Resource!

Hi all,
I was just wondering, do sites that are full of affiliate links and banners actually make money? Because there are a lot of them out there, and some of them hog the top spot for certain keywords. _________________ The Definitive Guide To Using Wordpress for Adsense

If the sites are just affiliate links and banners, I would suggest that no they don't and are quite often seen as junk by the searchers and SE's alike. That's why SE's are constantly tweaking their algos to remove such sites. They both want content and sites that provide useful information, or the products they are specifically searching for.
That isn't to say sites with affiliate links are bad, but when you present information on how to ... why ... a review, helpful advice, tips, etc. you go a long way in building credibility with a searcher, and they are then comfortable with the recommendations you may offer.

Hi Debs,
I am back! I have made some changes, and I am also currently working on an online course to add to the site. Please take a look and tell me what you think. _________________ The Home Business Professional Ideas and Opportunities Resource!
