Post subject: Too Many Keywords?
|
|
|
I've been very lazy up to this point with my keywords. I have the same group of about 3 zillion keywords that are included in each of my pages.
I'll soon be changing each page to include it's own set of page specific keywords with page content optimized for those keywords.
What is the school of thought on how many keywords to use per page? Could someone give me a ballpark idea on this?
Thanks for your assistance!

3 to 5 keyphrases, separated by commas i.e.
keyphrase one,keyphrase two,keyphrase three

I should have mentioned in my post above that I was talking about the keyword meta tag, not page content.
Ben is right, your page has to make sense! The recommendation is one primary keyphrase and two sub phrases that relate to the primary one.
