You are obviously querying Google with this program, so the question would have to be did you get Google's permission via the API program?
Also, you didn't mention links in, does it also check PR and links in? I would think that could help make it worth more.
You may want to have some independent reviews done, by those familiar with Google (like Sean Burns) to get feedback on value as well.

In addition to what Debs said about querying Google, there is also an issue with crawling other people's sites if you do look at the links in to a page.
To analyze my rankings, your crawler may need to spider over 11 000 pages on my server. This wouldn't bother me too much because I've got lots of bandwidth but if I didn't, it could be annoying.
Having said that, I'd be interested to look at it if you want some feedback - just PM me.
Cheers

Right now, I have a limited amount of bandwidth. 5gb a month. Currently, I am only using about 500 MB of that, so I don't mind some of the spiders out there.
But I monitor my spider logs, and block spiders that I don't see benefiting me. This would be one such spider.
So I agree with Sean on this one... spidering sites could annoy the owner, especially if you suck up their bandwidth. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Hi Andrew
I received the email but I haven't had a chance to look at it - I've been re-writing my book for the last week or so and it's taken up most of time (apart from the occasional visit to this forum).
I should get back to you by Wednesday.
Cheers
