Hi all,

After reading numerous posts for the last couple of hours I was inspired to add something of my own that might help someone in the same situation..

My first website is a definite failure... My problem... not choosing a definite theme from the beginning... using keywords that had huge demand but I knew nothing about... and trying to count the money from the beginning.

Don't get me wrong... failure and making mistakes are a good thing... at least someone thinks that way as I have seen in a sig file about Thomas Edison.. who failed 10000 times...

Anyway, Ken Evoy's latest mails on success/ failure have definitely got me thinking... its time to learn from my mistakes and build an internet business the proper way...traffic first... money later.

So after doing some extensive research I now have a new site concept and I am pleased to share with you my goals... and work schedule...which by the way I didn't do the first time.

? 70 Keyword Focused Content Pages
? 100 Links
? 350 Visitors Per Day
? 10 000 visitors a month
? Twice monthly newsletter
? 35 newsletter subscribers per day
? 5 % Conversion rate for *****
? US $ 10 000 per month
? Demand for keywords must exceed 500 per month

Monthly Budget

Month 1 8 KFCP?s, 4 possible link exchanges
Month 2 16 KFCP?s, 8 possible link exchanges
Month 3 Launch Website, Add 1 KFCP per day, 24 KFCP?s, 12 possible link exchanges
Month 4 32 KFCP?s, 16 possiblelink exchanges, ODP, Zeal
Month 5 Commission 20 KFCP?s (52), Launch newsletter, Google Adsense, 24 possible link exchanges
Month 6 Commission 20 KFCP?s (72), 32 possible link exchanges
Month 7 Write Free e-book, contact form for ****, affiliate links, 36 possible link exchanges
Month 8 Re-sell rights to ****, start affiliate program, etc

P.S. I have written my 2 KFCP's this week so am happy with my progress so far... its great to be enthusiastic once again.

Kind Regards
Ryan Hough

Great idea. A plan if written down is much easier to stick to. One thing did stick out at me though. It's probably going to be pretty hard to get 35 newsletter subscriptions a day on 350 visitors a day. That's a 10% conversion. Depending on your site and topic I would say a 2-5% signup rate is more realistic.
