If you can use them without having their links and promotions all over your pages, I would say go for it ... only because I don't know anything else about them just that I see those dang links/banners

Which service are you going to use
For any web master resource services Bravenet is good.It'll be having some simple(as compared to others) link back to it.
I am also using the same Bravenet to rebuild my website.
But see that it not telling your visitors to go to Bravenet as soon as they enter.
