Post subject: Sales letter cookie cutters...any good?
|
|
|
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience using sales letter cookie cutters such as "Push Button Sales Letters" or "Instant Sales Letters"
If so which is the better buy?
My biggest concern to be truthful is overuse
Thanks!

Hi Mario,
There are two sides to the "Cookie Cutter" style sales letter issue.
1. We know they work due to the fact that they have been tested and proven to get results. So yes they do work.
2. On the other hand "nothin lasts forever." What works today will not always work tommorow, esspecially in marketing. You may have success for a time with the letters or they may already have saturated the market to the point that people are begining to avoid them.
My suggestion would be to learn how to write effective adcopy yourself. It's not as hard as some people think. Start Today, by noting the sales letters that interest you and sell you. You will find that they all have certain aspects in common. things like;
*Catchy Headlines
*Bulleted Benefits lists
*They address the prospect "personally"
*They talk about what the prospect has do gain
*Good use of spacing, making the ad easy to read
these are just a few. You'll also notice they make use of certain key words that grab the attention of the reader. Words like;
*Discover
*Scientific
*Powerful
*Money
*Shockingly
*Free
also just a few. There is also plenty of liturature about writting adcopy, you may want to get your hands on some. It goes with the saying;
"Catch a man, a fish, and he eats for a day. Teach him to fish and he eats for a lifetime."
hope this helped you out Mario.
Glad to help,

I also look at sales letters written by people who I have bought from before.
Not only do these methods help you identify a letter that actually converts, but also identify a style that you are happy with. At the end of the day, the style of the letter will need to work for the people you attract, as much as the words themselves.
All the best,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
