Post subject: Customize Adsense to Fit Your Site
|
|
|
Sorry if this is a repeat but I just discovered you can customize the look and feel of adsense to fit your site. It works beautifully. All you do is ad the following text before the // --> line:
google_color_border = "000000";
google_color_link = "aeaeae";
google_color_background = "ffffff";
google_color_text = "000000";
google_color_url = "7878BC"; _________________ Get the facts before you build...

Careful.... If you're talking about editing the code which Google supplies, you're breaking one of Google's rules and risk being thrown out of the program. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Yikes! Didn't think about that. Good point. Thanks, Allan. _________________ Get the facts before you build...

You might want to ask about that because I am pretty sure you can edit that. If they didn't want you to edit it, they could have put it on their own site. _________________ http://www.fastfinancialfreedom.org - financial freedom is a myth (check out my brother's site)

No, actually I emailed them to double check and they said you cannot edit the code. They did mention that if you've noticed the ads appearing slightly different on some sites it's because they've nominated certain sites to do some testing.
Although I'm pretty sure the site that I saw probably wasn't testing. I think they just took it upon themselves to change the code. _________________ Get the facts before you build...

Just saw two new sizes added for Adsense .... an inline 300 x 250 rectangle and a 728 x 90 leaderboard. Looking good!
