I just bought Site Build It! and I'm now into day 2 of the "Make Your Content Pre-SELL" action guide. I really love the guide and it's concepts, but now I have a conundrum.
If I have a product that I am an affiliate of, that makes me $864 in commissions per week (last 7 days commissions on $1728 in sales), do you think I should use SBI to develop a PRE-sell site to increase sales even further?
Let me explain. Right now, I do not have my own site at all, I just link to my affiliate program's sales page. This is producing better than a 3% (1 sale in 30 clickthroughs) conversion rate.
Can any "old-timer" SBI'ers out there tell me if it would be advantageous to use SBI to create a PRE-sell site for this program? Or, would I be wasting my time?

Hello Tom.
Sounds like you've managed to link some very targeted traffic to a program that REALLY converts!
Based on the results of SBI! manager, do you think you stand a good chance of some serious search engine traffic from an SBI! created content site?
If not, I'd choose another area for your SBI! site...
But if yes, I'd follow the SBI! model and then split your traffic (from a common source) between an SBI! pre-sell page and your old direct affiliate page, so you can compare conversion rates. (Generally search engine-sourced traffic tends to convert well, but it's always best to check.)
This way, if things go well, you can divert all existing traffic via the SBI! site, and if not, you'll still have a new source of search engine traffic from the SBI! site (and corresponding affiliate sales) that you didn't have before.
That's why I suggested you only do this if the niche is tacklable via the SEs.
The heck with that, you need to write an ebook explaining how you are making $800 a week promoting affiliate programs, without a website! I'll be your first customer!
Scott,
I believe he means he doesn't have a website of his own promoting the affiliate program he is having so much success with; instead, he simply runs a pay per click ad and sends searchers directly to the merchant site. I only wish I knew which one!
