Post subject: Please Help - With affilate programs

Hi, I'm very new to the affiliate game and I am seeking advice from people who are more experienced than me.
I would like to get involved with earning money from affiliate programs through my own website. SBI looks really great, but can somebody tell if it is REALLY worth spending $400 or so?
Also is there a way in which I could receive 10 cents or more everytime my webpage is loaded up? ( I have searched for hours in search engines, but I guess nothing beats human advice )

Miles, if you are spending hours looking in the search engines for a way to make a dime every time your page is loaded up, SBI may not be what you are looking for. SBI works very well, only if YOU work IT. 
I mean no offense, but if you truly want to make a living as an affiliate/webmaster, you have to build a website about something that you love.  You have to love it so much, you would enjoy spending hours researching it and writing about it and building pages for other people who love it. 
Working online is not a path to an easy buck. It is one of my pet peeves that so many think so. 
I think if you look in the right places and ask the right people, you'll find that they will concur.
SBI is a suite of tools that makes it possible for people who have only basic computer/internet skills to build a website that WORKS - a site that pulls targeted traffic, which enables you to effectively PRE-sell your affiliate merchants' products and services. It IS costly, but effective.
And BTW, if you were to pay individually for all the utilities included in the package, you could easily spend thousands, not hundreds. So it's actually quite a good value for the investment. And if you plan on making a real business, it's tax-deductible! (In the U.S.)
My best advice is to stop looking for ways to make easy money, read Allan's articles about SBI (especially about Rupert's sites) and lurk around the SBI Forum here for a few days. You'll learn alot more with your time and have a better chance for real success when you are ready to WORK for it.

Just devide the SBI price by 12 and you come up with a much lower amount per month.
Then check out what SBI functionality cost when purchased through other means. These other services, like autoresponders, hosting, SE-cehcking and submitting, traffic reoorts etc. are usually, when they are quality services, to be paid for (monthly). Compare shopping for all these services, contracting them from different suppliers etc.
With SBI you have an all in one package from one supplier. You have a single point of contact in case you need support, you have lots of free information available (The diverse newsletters Ken Evoy and the Sitesell Team publish) and you also have this wonderful forum with friendly people listening and helping. (Btw: a big thanks from me to the other forum members for all the stuff I have learned over here).
If you want to set up a site now, then you also should consider buying SBI now, as the offer a big discount until midnight on Valentines Day.
