Post subject: Offering something for FREE through website.

The company that I am a representative for just went through some leadership changes.
I had to stop offering a free interactive cd. But now I don't know what to offer for FREE so that I can harvest e-mail addresses.
I still give them the option of signing up for our team newsletter but I would like to offer something for Free that will get them to come back again.
Does anyone have anything I can use or have any ideas? I know that there are options out there but being new to internet marketing I am going through the learning curve and would appreciate any help.
Your Friend,
Manny Rodriguez

Thank you..I currently do offer a newsletter through constant contact.
I was hoping to also offer something else for FREE. I think I am going to try something like some financial independency literature/articles...or something to that effect.
The newsletter through Constant Contact is useful and it has really helped me put together something nice and resourceful for my prospects.
Thanks,
Manny Rodriguez

Have you thought about offering a free t-shirt?
You could have a monthly or weekly drawing
for all newsletter subscribers. Announce the winner
at the end so they have to read the whole issue.
You can put your logo on all kinds of shirts
and accessories for free over at

Hi Manny,
Generally it is a good idea to offer a free report or an e-book to get people to subscribe to a newsletter for instance. You could also offer a free business/website consultation for people who become fully paid up members. Generally people who just go for 'freebies' are not worth the time unless you are offering a limited version of something like a piece of software that they need to upgrade. People who pay nothing are usually worth nothing...
Cheers,

I realise what you are saying, but...

...I think that's a bit strong.
OK, pay more attention to paying customers, but isn't it worth hedging your bets a little for the future? People's circumstances change.
Secondly, what if it's a super affiliate checking you out on the quiet, to see how you will handle any of their customers once they hand them over...
There is such a thing as guilt by association, you know.
Cheers,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
