SEO is key factor that take your website from none to number one but right direction is also important in SEO. These are some basic points that one must be kept in mind. Use these techniques on a daily basis and you will start to see results. Remember to stay consistent, and just do it!
1-Don’t use the same Metas for every page.
2-Avoid using links with the same anchor text.
3-Do network with other Website owners.
4-Don’t compete for single keywords.
5-Design your Website to be SEO friendly.
6-While posting in forums do follow rules and regulations
7-Write to the topic and be meaningful
8-Don't ask question in answer to the question.
9-Implement unique META titles and descriptions for all of your pages.
10-Add an HTML sitemap to your site.
11-Target 'long tail' keywords in your sub pages.
12-Use underline, bold, strong and italics tags on each pages keywords.

1. Directory submissions with related/targeted keywords
2. Maintain a blog with your work updates regularly
3. Connect yourself with social media networks like twitter, facebook, linkedin etc.
4. A clean and unique content based website
5. List your business in local google and yahoo business. Its free. |

Great tips, natasha9211. SEO indeed is the key. And SEO needs to be a constant effort and not just a one time thing. It is very much important to write to the point and be very clear of what you want to get across to people. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, these tips are quit useful when we do apply them.
However, it takes time to apply these tips. This is the main reason, I think, why some people are not patient enough to implement.
There are lot of folks out there who know how and never do what they know.
Thus, I hope that those who read this post apply these tips and techniques. And I can assure that they work because I'm applying most of them.
Great tips, anyway.
