what is your best traffic generation method.Would you say that article writing is the best way to attract people to your website and be able to add them to your list?

Increase in traffic and increase in PR is two different things and so accordingly work is required. There are no best methods in SEO/Marketng as a bunch of certain kinds of methods makes a task possible desirably. However for your question the methods I would recommend are article and PR submission, Forum and Blog posting, Social Media Marketing are the best methods but make sure all are done with quality.

There is not best traffic method as there is no such thing as too much traffic. If you search this fourm you will find alot of traffic methods. The key is to choose one or two to start with that you are comfortable with. Work it hard then move on to other methods if you need/want to.

I believe content is key. And content marketing definitely crucial. Content is what creates meaning. Quality content and SEO will be the first two things to consider. And then comes the backlinks and the whole social angle.
