Blogger has an option called mail to blog. With this if you send an email to a specific email address it becomes a post on the blog.
The subject is the title ... the body is the content.
So you know any other blogs that have this option available?

So does a self hosted wordpress blog. You need to set it up from your Settings panel.

You can do this with the Wordpress Blogs. After login to your dashboard click on Settings >> Writing.
Here on this page you have an option of "Post via e-mail". You just have to fill out the required credentials and save it.

The main drawback to this though is formating, adding images and everything else you do to spice up the page cannot be done through an email.

I find this a very convenient way for short and quick updates. But this definitely doesn't work if you are working on a well formatted, detailed, and longer post.
