Hey folks,
I understand that off page SEO is as important as on page optimization. It helps in attracting search engines to the site. The question I have is if there are various link building methods as far as new sites are concerned? I believe it is better for the site to have more links pointing towards it. I understand the usefulness of article submission and directory submission. Would it help if I submitted links to authority sites and industry related sites? Can someone tell me about other link building methods that will help my new site? Please feel free to leave your suggestions.

Hi,
The process which is done for receiving high page rank is considered as off page SEO. There are so many factors in off page SEO. We make quality links for link building process. For making quality links we do article submission, forum posting, blog commenting and so many other process. In off page SEO, there is an important role of directory submission and social bookmarking. It is very necessary that the article should contain good and relevant content.
For promoting our website we also use the social networking sites. In SEO, it is very necessary that your website has numbers of back links. If there is no back links with you website then it is impossible that page rank of your website will increase. In this we try to make a link with blog sites. Off SEO is very helpful to promoting online business. Making links with relevant site we can promote our business |

While directories do offer back links to our sites, Google seem to prefer contextual links more than anything else these days. publishing relevant articles on social media sites like squidoo, hub pages with anchor text back links, setting up blogs on various different Web 2.0 sites, and syndicating unique articles manually with top article sites will give you the high quality contextual links which will worth lot more than average directory submissions.

Link building is a part of Off-Page SEO. If your site is new I suggest doing backlinking to your site naturally and slowly to avoid being penalized by Google.

That's a huge list of link building techniques. I think if we build atleast one link per technique will be great. What you guys say?
