Post subject: Targeting High-Value Keywords

| Based on the view bids function at Overture. What would you consider a high-value keyword. There is no way I can check the value of the words as I dont have a Google Adword account. |

It's simple to open an Adwords account, and worth it to check on what bids are going for.
So far as Overture is concerned, some are close and some are way off of what Adwords is ... hard to compare.

You can also use http://www.pixelfast.com/overture/ as a very quick, free way of seeing what people are paying on Overture. I know it's not AdWords, but it gives you a rough idea of the value of a keyword, and shows you demand at the same time. I love that tool.
To me, a valuable keyword is one that people pay 50 cents per click for on Overture. The ones that get me excited are over $2 per click. There are no hard and fast rules on this.
The main keyword we're optimistically targeting in our newest SBI site is more than $2 on Overture. I hope we don't full flat on our faces aiming that high
