Thats a problem many of us face right now. There is a new Google update in progress and many former high ranking site, that received most of their traffic from G, have now either disappeared or receive very low rankings. For my main keyword, which constatly (until end of last week)brought in 50 to 100 unique visitors per day, at least 65 pages from various sites are missing in the current index.

So basically my site has been filtered out?
does any one know any information on this? and is there any way I can get back in to goggle. Or am I going to be filtered out for all my keywords due to over optimization?
I would appreciate some advice on this
warmest regards
Im a bit upset about purchasing sbi now. Now that I have educated my self a lot more. I think James book is by far superior as its dedicated to affiliate publishers. _________________ The world meets nobody half way. If you want it, you got to take it. |

Relax Johnny! That tool doesn't mean your site was filtered out. It shows how your placement changes over the various data centers Google has, that's all!
SBi does not overoptimize. It works, give it a chance. I don't remember how old your site is or how many pages you have, so all I can say is get more quality links into your site, exchange links, and build more content.
The more you fret over search engine placement, the less work you get done, and the more self-fulfilling your "lack" of rankings become.
SE's like content, lots and lots of content, pages and page and pages, so build them, get links and don't worry. It takes months to settle down in placement in some SE's. Some SE's experiment with algo changes frequently (like Google is now) but the one thing that remains constant for good ranking is links in and lots of pages of good quality content.
If you added a couple pages a week to your site, in a couple months time, you will increase your traffic dramatically but you have to hit a decent number of pages first. I'll tell ya, for long-term success 50 isn't going to do it.

I know you are right its just a little bit annoying as u will probably know.
I guess it gives me time to make the changes you suggested, and get some more incoming links and extra pages
Cheers Debs really do appreciate your advice
