Hi,

I'm one of the newbies, and I appreciate any help I can get from the experienced folks.

At least one of the companies I want to publish for stated in their agreement that some indication that the links on the site are affiliate links is required.

Do you put something on your websites? In small letters at the bottom of the page, perhaps?

If so, what does that notice say?

Thanks for any help!

I think they're saying you need to insert your affiliate link on your blog or website. After you sign up, you'll be asked to insert your affiliate link anywhere on your website in other to be eligible. Hope I answered your question.

Thanks, Kaz. The way the agreement was worded, it sounded like there needs to be a disclaimer on the site, notifying visitors that the links shown on the site are affiliate links - some indication that there is a payment to me if they buy.

Does anyone use a disclaimer like that? Or, do you just not mention that you have an affiliate relationship with the products you promote?

Thanks!

I finally figured out what to search for to get additional information. It's called Affiliate Disclosure, and if you search for that, you'll find all kinds of different types of disclosures and information about the FTC regs.

If anyone has a disclosure you particularly like, please post it here. Otherwise, I'll review the examples I found on the web.
