I have been really working hard on building an Affiliate Program website that people will really be able to make some money with. I am very new to online marketing so I will try to understand as much as I can in the begining . My company manufactures nutritional products and Im trying to get things going on the web. I guess my question is can anyone here help me get traffic to my websites? I would like for everyone to look at my Affiliate Program and give me any tips on how to make it better. I would also like some advise on the best ways to get traffic.
My Affiliate website is newhealthdiscoveries.com
Thanks everyone,

Hi
Welcome,
I will be gentle :
There seems to be alot of java scripting going on in your website.
You seem to have alot going on in your source code ! Is that a affiliate template or did you create it ?
Anyways, In my opinion its going to be hard for SE ( search engine ) spiders to wiggle through that mess. I would clean up that source code by using a differ template and try to use some css also.
Pictures are great for displaying products but also hinder your download times. I would get rid of some jpgs or at least use http://www.netmechanic.com to size the images down.
Did you write the content for the product or is from the affiliate program , if its from the affiliate program it won't do much good it needs to be fresh content so your not competing.
Your content in your center table needs margin spacing, css works for this also.
I would write content on each product and give them a seperate page.
I see that you have done that but you also have each product on the index page. I would NOT try to oversell just give the information. If the information is good then it will give the motivation to buy the product.
Remember content is KING
Try to swap links with someone on google who a page rank of 4 or more to get you some pr for your site and to get you found faster by the SE's.

Jeff, I don't think that is her site, I think it is the program she will be promoting. Correct me if I am wrong Casey.
Based upon my assumption above, you have a couple choices for promoting.
1. You can do a content based site on the problems people face and how those products will help them.
Presell by offering quality information about these problems, what causes them, then lead into the products that you feel would help ... tell them why/how they help. Be very careful here ... when it comes to medical information you don't want to mislead people, make promises or guarantees, or the FDA will be down on you like a hot potato.
2. Build a minisite and promote via PPC and free SE
3. Do straight PPC and forward referrals directly to the merchant site with your affiliate url.
Do check out the other threads on the forum regarding each of these options, what they involve, etc. to see which one suits you best.
Hope this helps,

Ok, my apologies Jeff and Casey I was wrong *hiding head in sand* ... Casey you need to get listed in as many free affiliate directories as you can, make sure you apply to Allan's www.associateprograms.com as well as others.
You could also check into some of the major Affiliate Networks, like www.CJ.com www.Linkshare.com www.befree.com www.performics.com www.regnow.com www.commissionsoup.com to see what it would cost to set up your program through them.
Many merchants sign up with multiple places to increase their chances of finding good affiliates to promote their programs.
As far as increasing traffic yourself, PPC (pay per click advertising) with good keyphrase research so you don't waste money. Pay for inclusion SE's, and directories also. (I am assuming you have already done the free SE's and directories).
Do some direct contact with sites that rank well for keyphrases relating to your products ... contact siteowners and see if they would like to sign up for your affiliate program. Finding good quality sites, that already have affiliate links, is a good way to find interested webmasters.
Also, for SEO, Sean's site and ebook, or Planet Ocean's SEO. Maybe even an SBi quality content site to help drive traffic to your sales sites. All good options to consider.
Hope this helps,
