Hello Fellow SBI-ers,
Greetings from Almaty, Kazakhstan. Thank you all for helping people around the world to get assistance with SBI through this forum.
Let me first share with you two resources I found particularly helpful, and which I hope would be helpful to others.
1. Larry Chase?s Web Digest for Marketers. This is a free and useful ezine compiled by Larry Chase on various Internet marketing topics. You can sign up by visiting the site http://www.wdfm.com. While there don?t forget to download his Essential Search Engine Marketing Resource Guide. It?s also free and has lots of useful information. The link is: http://wdfm.com/getsem.htm.
2. David Frey?s Small Business Marketing Bible 2003. David Frey is a very bright and knowledgeable marketer. I believe the cost of his book is 67 US dollars, but for those of you who run some kind of offline business, in addition to the online one, the book will pay off itself quickly. The link is http://www.TheMarketingBible.com.
I also have two questions for the forum members.
1. Changes in the SBI ezine template messages. Thanks to Debs and Databasedesigner we know how to download the ebook in pdf format onto the SBI mothersite. What we plan to implement now is to provide two free reports in pdf format for everyone who signs up for our free ezine. The first report (via the download link) will be provided in the first email sent to a potential subscriber to confirm his/her subscription. And the second report (also via the link) will be provided in the confirmation email. So our subscribers will be rewarded for completing each step in the double opt-in process. Does anybody know how to do it? I mean how can we edit/change the email messages sent automatically to the subscribers?
2. Storage volume on the SBI servers. What is the amount of space allowed for each SBI package/domain on the SBI servers? In other words, how much information in Mb can we upload on our host server?

You can't. You don't have access to the emails. It's a pain What I do is access the subsription list a couple times a day, and send out emails to the new additions giving them the download link.
Please please please email the wishlist and ask to have the ability to modify the confirmation email lol It would save soooo much.
Now, you could set up an autoresponder to do it for you. But ... and correct me if I am wrong ... you would still have to either manually add the new people to your newsletter list (and have them go through the confirmation) or, once they confirmed the newsletter, you would have to add them to the autoresponder to get the link.

To my knowledge there is no limit to what you can upload, however, there may be a limit to the size of one item.

Ok, I will. But can't the creative people in this list find the way around this limitation? I mean some kind of the script, etc. that can be compatible with SBI. Any ideas?
The confirmation email is a secure document, we simply don't have access to it. You can't modify what you can't access.
Send your wish into the wishlist!!!
